More control over Grass Effect

This is one of the few available shaders 2D foliage/plant movement for Sprites in Unity; it'd be great if we could get a few more parameters to have greater control over how the grass 'bends', and if we could have some degree of variance or randomness as well as a random starting point, so not all grass move identically.
The only parameters available are Heat Distortion(!?) and Speed; so having a lot more control would be really valuable.
