If it's a mobile game, we don't recommand to use AL because, AL use the same lighting system then 3D and could required lots of processing time.
Maybe your texture atlas have to many sprites, and the effect didn't work well in this case.
2DxFX work great with single sprite.
you need to use WaterAndBackgroundDeluxe
Make sur the the sorted layer is set after all the sprite and background, depending on how you want that effect.

we also found strange for us to see those smiley face, it's appear that is only from your messages
Thank you for the detailed response. We bought this Asset as well. After using it everything was quickly understood and clear. It is a worthy addition to the "Tool Belt". I personally like having the option to use scripts to manipulate and then having the option on top of everything using ShaderoSprite. Together they are a combined force and make both sides of a team happy which is also a priceless feature. :laughing:

Without deleting the unused effects, it's an hard problem to solve, even for us.
Our team are finding solutions to improve this aspect and to provide a new solide version of 2DxFX.
We are actually working on a new major version of 2DxFX and hope it will be release really soon.
