Unity "Animation" won't recognize material properties of selected object



  • The same exact issue that has been reported in other forums, following the provided tutorials over a dozen times, trying everything I can think of. I've managed to get to where you have the shader affect the image I want but when it comes to recording animation frames it simply doesn't. I can move the sliders and see it change, but it's a constant change, the keyframes will not record and the details of the shader are not being added to the animator.

    Over 8 hours in and I can't even make something pixel UV in and out... I'm suspecting this a bug.



  • Figured it out, it only works with Sprite Renderer, it will not work with Image.... WOW. That sucks.
